Founded in 2017 by mother-and-daughter duo Karen and Khella Young, Bee Buzzed is where indulgent desserts meet expertly paired spirits. Created to elevate celebrations of every kind, Bee Buzzed specializes in handcrafted, liqueur-infused confections that are as striking as they are unforgettable.

Proudly rooted in Hamtramck, Michigan, the duo balances creativity with accomplished professional careers. Karen is a psychologist serving the Metro Detroit area, and Khella is an Instructional Designer working with organizations across the United States. Khella’s entrepreneurial vision sparked the idea to unite two timeless indulgences, cake and alcohol, while Bee Buzzed gave Karen the opportunity to finally pursue her lifelong dream of baking professionally.
