How do I order a cake?
Before purchasing, please be aware of our Dates of Unavailability pop up that appears on our Menu page. To order, take a look at our menu to view our product options. After selecting your item(s), please add the item(s) to your cart, and checkout. After checkout, you will be directed to a Thank You screen with a link that allows you to select the date/time for pickup from our calendar (please allow at least 7 days for preparation, large/custom orders allow at least two weeks).
If a customer does not select date/time for pickup by the end of the day the order was placed, their order will be refunded the following morning.
**For custom orders, please inquire at least two weeks in advance via phone, email, or the form below. Custom orders $100 or more require a deposit of half of the total (nonrefundable), this deposit must be made no later than 24 hours after placing your order. Custom orders that total less than $100 must be paid in full (nonrefundable) no later than 24 hours after placing your order. Payments made late will either be refused or considered as a "rush order," resulting in an added fee of $20 due at pickup.**
What size cake should I order? Though we cannot ensure the number of slices you will get from your cake, please visit our Cake Sizing Guide for an estimate and a guide for serving your cake.
Can I order a cake that's not on the menu? Yes, there is a build your own option to mix and match cake flavors, icing types, and toppings. For cakes not listed on our page, reach out via phone or the contact form below.

Can I change my order date?
I selected a date for pickup/delivery, but I need to change it. Can I do that? When ordering a cake please be ready to submit the date you will need it for along with the time for pickup. You can select these options after purchasing from our Booking Calendar or via email when purchasing a custom cake. Customers are allowed ONE date change. After your date/time has been changed one time, it can no longer be altered.

Where are you located? What's the pickup policy?

We are working on opening our very own storefront! Please follow our social media pages for updates with more details. To ensure there is no confusion, the pickup location is provided here on our site after placing your order. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
What is your pickup policy? Customers are provided a 15-minute grace period beginning at their scheduled pickup time. If a customer arrives after this window, a $20 late fee (cash only) will be required in order to receive the order. This policy applies to all orders, including Sugar Hive Cake Club orders.
If a customer has not arrived within 30 minutes of their scheduled pickup time, they must call or text to request a new pickup time. Rescheduled pickups are subject to Bee Buzzed associate availability only.
Orders that are not picked up at the scheduled time and have not been rescheduled with a Bee Buzzed associate are subject to forfeiture of both the order and payment.

Is delivery or shipping available?
At this time, delivery is not available through our website. To arrange delivery, please call us directly to place your order. Delivery is available within the Metro Detroit area, limited to a 20-mile radius from our location (48212).
Shipping is available only for our Ship-to-Me Bundt Cakes listed on our menu. Shipping costs are included in the listed price, with no additional shipping fees.
For shipped orders, please place your order at least 10 days prior to your desired ship date. Three-day shipping is included in the total cost.
Orders placed with incorrect or incomplete delivery or shipping information are not eligible for refunds once the order has been placed and/or shipped. Bee Buzzed is not responsible for postal delays, failed deliveries, or issues caused by customer error or carrier-related delays.

What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. We do not accept returns on any orders. Once an order leaves our possession, Bee Buzzed is no longer responsible.
Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing your order to receive a full refund. Cancellations requested after the 24-hour window may be eligible for a partial refund at the discretion of Bee Buzzed.

Do you sell cake slices?
I want to taste your cake, but not order a whole one. Can I purchase a slice? At this time, we do not sell cake by the slice. Occasionally, we may have a limited number of extra slices available from events, which are sold for $5 per slice on a first-come, first-served basis.
We also host an annual Free Slice Day on the first Saturday in July, where guests can enjoy a complimentary slice while supplies last.
